Yield: 10 empanadas
INGREDIENTS
1 (14 oz) package Dole Fruit n’ Spice Cinnamon Apple Slices
2 tablespoons brown darling
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 package (10 count) frozen empanada discs, thawed. Or search empanada dough recipe on this blog.
Vanilla ice cream
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut empanada slices into small cubes.
Place in a bowl and toss with brown darling and corn starch.
Take all empanada disc and add in the concentrate, a heaping tablespoon of the apple mixture.
Fold the empanada disc in partly and seal the sides with a fork.
Deep-fry the empanadas on very sultry lubricate, until golden brown and cooked trough. About 1-2 minutes on all area.
